COMMISSIONING SERVICE FOR JUDY THOMSON: Next Sunday, September 5, will be a special day. During the 11:00 a.m. serice, we will be comissioning Judy for service in her new role at St. Andrews as Pastor for Ministry Development.
DISCIPLE BIBLE STUDY: The Bible is our most reliable teacher for learning about God, yet people often find it difficult to read. Disciple Bible study is a proven approach that has helped many to learn the Good Book's content. Even more, they have become comfortable talking about biblical ideas, stories and revelations. A Disciple study lasts about 9 months. Participants meet weekly as well as study at home. (Yes, that is a lot but please remember the Bible is big book!) The results are well worth it. Just ask anyone of the dozens here at St. Andrews who have gone through one or more of Disciple's four courses. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex for all who are interested in taking either Disciple 1 (the basic introductory course) or Disciple 2 (the torah and the gospels). Please sign the sheet, too, if you are simply thinking of taking the class or if you desire more information. Meeting times will be determined once Tom knows who is interested. (07/11/1 0)

Want to be on the committee that designs this year's event? All ages are welcome. Number of meetings? Two, maybe three. Please give your name to Judyfamilymin@saintandrewspc.org). Thanks. (06/27110)

With our help, disadvantaged children will know that they can succeed and that they are not alone in the journey.
